Terms of Sale and Use
Last updated: 2026-07-04
1. Purpose and scope
These terms govern access to the Leadmaps service, published by THE DUG MEDIA LTD, which provides a database of publicly accessible business establishment information through a dashboard, an API and an MCP server.
The service is strictly for professionals (B2B). Subscribing requires a company registration or VAT number and confirmation of professional use. Consumer withdrawal rights therefore do not apply.
2. Credits and billing
The contractual metering is: 1 credit = 1 delivered listing (export row, listing returned by the API or MCP). Search, counts and facets are free.
Any listing already delivered and billed to the account can be re-delivered free of charge for 30 days, across all channels.
Included credits reset every monthly period; they neither roll over nor are refundable.
Overage is billed at the plan’s displayed rate. A spending cap is enabled by default at the monthly subscription price; the customer can set it from zero to unlimited. Overage billing can never exceed the configured cap.
3. Commercial guarantee
A 14-day money-back commercial guarantee applies to the first subscription only, provided fewer than 1,000 credits were consumed. Exercise it by email to [email protected].
4. Data license
Delivered listings are covered by an internal-use, perpetual, non-exclusive license.
Prohibited: reselling or substantially redistributing the data, building a competing service, sending unsolicited communications in breach of applicable rules (B2B prospecting: professional relevance, source attribution, opt-out means in every message), and reconstituting the database.
The customer, an autonomous controller of its exports, undertakes to honor objection requests it receives and to attribute the data source in its prospecting (GDPR art. 14.2.f).
5. Service level
The service is provided on a best-effort basis targeting roughly 99% availability, without a contractual SLA. Maintenance and refresh cycles may temporarily affect data freshness or availability.
6. Termination
The customer may cancel anytime from the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
Leadmaps may terminate immediately upon breach of these terms, notably of the data license, without refund of amounts due.
7. Liability
Leadmaps’ total liability, all causes combined, is capped at the amounts actually paid by the customer over the last 12 months.
Data comes from publicly accessible sources; Leadmaps guarantees neither completeness nor absolute accuracy, but displays the last verification date of every listing.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute falls to the competent courts, after an attempt at amicable resolution.
